β’ Response underway after invasive water plant confirmed in Edina (hometownsource.com) β An invasive reed has been confirmed in an Edina wetland near Lake Cornelia, and specialists are already treating the small stand to protect local habitat. City staff are asking Edina residents to watch for the tall, reed-like grass and report any suspected patches to the Water Resources team or Nine Mile Creek Watershed District, rather than trying to remove it themselves.
