DESCRIPTION:
Join the Invisible Wounds Project for the 20th annual Officer Shawn Silvera Memorial 5K, honoring Officer Shawn Silvera of the Lino Lakes Police Department, who was killed in the line of duty in 2005. This milestone anniversary brings together first responders, veterans, and community members for a morning of remembrance and community support.
Four ways to participate: the Public Safety 5K Challenge (first responder teams competing for a traveling trophy), a Civilian 5K Challenge open to all, a 1 Mile Walk of Remembrance, and the family-friendly Daisy Dash for kids.
Proceeds benefit the Invisible Wounds Project, supporting mental health and wellness for veterans, first responders, and their families, along with the Minnesota Law Enforcement Explorers Scholarship.
