A Fair Shot: Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at the MN State Fair

Today is 4-H Day at the fair, which means swine, rabbits, sheep and more will be on prominent display. A 4-H Purple Ribbon Auction takes place at 6 p.m. at AgStar Arena. 

It's Spring Lake Park High School's day to show off in the daily high school FIRST Robotics competition at the Education Building. Roseville, Park, Southwest Christian and Spring Lake Park are set to compete at 10 a.m., noon and 3 p.m. Fridley-based Cummins Power Generation is awarding the robotics prizes at the Minnesota State Fair this year.
