The "From Midway to Here" series proudly presents our debut cook book "Stevenson and Hayes Edition" The "Here" of our first cookbook brings you recipes and traditions from the families of Stevenson Elementary and Hayes Elementary, in Fridley, MN. In the spirit of the IB program we encourage our students to become knowledgeable of new and different foods. Having the students inquire about how other cultures prepare their meals and the traditions associated with them. This brings us closer with understanding, respect and a sense of pride showing that we care about our peers, our school and those who surround us. With the money raised from this all school project, we leave an opportunity for new curriculum and a message to follow in our footsteps.
