The Minnesota Civic Education Coalition seeks to partner with parents, teachers, civic organizations, and the city and school district to begin Kids Voting (http://www.kidsvoting.com/) in Fridley.
Kids Voting hosts student elections in conjunction with adult elections to acculturate kids to their civic rights and responsibilities. This experiential learning is reinforced by classroom lessons.
