The 12U Fridley Boys Baseball team took 2nd place out of 10 teams at the Parkway 12U tournament in St. Paul this past weekend. They played 2 games on Saturday and won one and lost one, putting them in the top bracket. Then on Sunday they played 4 games, losing 2 and winning 2 games. We had 5 boys hit out of the park home runs Hunter Wright, Sam Durand, Carson Lindsay, Ryan Solz and Cooper Severson). Ryan and Cooper’s home runs were Grand Slams. Way to go boys!
