The American Spirit

Members of the House of Representatives are elected to represent their constituents and put America first.  

Too many congressional members choose to put special interests ahead of our interests and their friends in Congress before their constituents.

Keith Ellison chooses to represent only a small slice of people who agree with him.

Ellison defends his buddies like Charlie Rangel and Eric Holder. He stands up for Travon Martin’s family but then works to deny Brian Terry’s family justice.

Serving in the House of Representatives doesn’t come with an expectation that you will protect special interest groups and your political allies.

Rather, it comes with a responsibility to put America first in order to move us forward.

For more than 21 years as a United States Marine I have put America first. I did not survive a tough inner city upbringing and two extended combat tours to come home and see my country fail. 

The spirit of America is powerful and has been responsible for our country becoming the greatest democracy this world has ever seen.

It’s time to unleash the spirit of America and let it propel us forward.
