CLOSED: Snow Closes All Schools in Fridley Area: Fridley, Columbia Heights, Spring Lake Park, Anoka-Hennepin Districts; Totino-Grace, Al-Amal, Calvin Christian, Woodcrest Baptist

School districts in Fridley, Columbia Heights, Spring Lake Park and Anoka-Hennepin have closed schools and cancelled classes Tuesday, according to WCCO.

Private schools in Fridley have followed suit: Totino-Grace High School, Al-Amal School, Woodcrest Baptist Academy and Calvin Christian High School are also closed Tuesday.

The four Fridley-area school districts showed up on school-closed lists between 6 and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Winter Storm Saturn is scheduled to leave about five inches of snow behind when it leaves the area Tuesday after about 18 hours of on-and-off snowfall.
