City of Fridley Recycling Drop-Off Day on Saturday, April 13, 2013

Accepted items include paper for shredding, clothing, bedding, books, household items, lamps and useable furniture, carpeting and carpet pads—as well as appliances and more.

The event is 9 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Fridley Public Works Garage, 400 71st Ave. NE (behind Columbia Arena). 

Bring proof of residency (the postcard you received in the mail). Drop-off is free for many items. Exact cash or check made payable to "City of Fridley" for items requiring a fee.

New or returning items this year include paper for shredding, clothing, bedding, books, household items, lamps and useable furniture, carpeting and carpet pads—as well as appliances and more.

Major appliances, electronics, small engines (snowblowers, etc.), scrap metal, bicycles, fluorescent bulbs, batteries, prescription medications.

No tires, oil, construction debris, household hazardous waste (chemicals) or business waste.
