Columbia Heights is one of the few Minnesota schools with a team.

The Columbia Heights High School synchronized swimming team finished eighth overall at the state meet held Thursday and Friday at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis.

Columbia Heights finished with 10 points. Wayzata High School won the event with 169 points.

Hylander Results
Katie Bluhm, Kira Ericson and Danielle Lindstedt took fourth in the short trio event.

Connie Alvarez finished sixth place in the long solo competition, while Bluhm and Ericson took sixth in the short duet competition.

Alvarez and Becki Schultz took seventh in the long duet event.
