Curves of Fridley Begins March Food Drive

Members asked to bring in non-perishable food items.

launches its annual food drive Thursday, collecting donations of non-perishable food items from members during the month of March to donate to local food shelves. 

Curves is also waiving its joining fee from March 12–25 for new members who donate a bag of food or $30 to a local food bank. 

In a Facebook post, Curves of Fridley expressed the philosophy behind the effort:

"Curves of Fridley is committed to supporting the health and well-being of our members, so the food drive is a natural extension of that commitment to the whole community. ... Many families are struggling with basic expenses and need some help to make ends meet. Our food drive gives our members a way to reach out and support their neighbors."
