¡Cantaré! A VocalEssence Ode to Mexico's Musical Heritage

Explore Mexico's vibrant cultural and choral heritage with ¡Cantaré! (I Will Sing!), a musical celebration with internationally renowned choral organization VocalEssence. ¡Cantaré! pairs Mexican composers-in-residence with select Twin Cities schools and community choruses.

  This year, Gerardo Cárdenas and Novelli Jurado will be world-premiering original compositions- performed by the VocalEssence Chorus and various school choirs- in two special performances (6 p.m. and 8 p.m.). Blain High School choir will perform at the 8 o'clock show.
