
Fridley Spring Residential Recycling Drop-off Day New this year: Carpeting, Useable Furniture, Household Good collection and Paper shredding can also be Recycled at April 13 Event
The City of Fridley’s Spring Residential Recycling Drop-off will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 13th, at the Fridley Public Works facility, 400 71st Ave., behind the former Columbia Arena.
Items to bring for recycling include appliances (large or small), air conditioners, electronics (all sizes of TVs, computers, etc.), small engines (drained), scrap metal, bicycles (useable or not), fluorescent bulbs (10 per household free) and car batteries. Also, new this year-free carpet, carpet pad (rolled up, no scraps), clean, useable furniture, clothing (useable and rags), towels, and other household goods will be collected! Free document shredding while you wait is available on April 13.

This event is only open to Fridley single family, apartment and mobile home residents (no businesses). Bring proof of residency and the green event postcard mailed out in early April. Most items are free. Larger volumes of electronics and appliances may incur charges. Cash or a check payable to “City of Fridley” will be the only types of payment accepted.
The Fridley Police will again accept expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs in their original containers. Please cross out name and address on bottle. If you are unable to attend the Drop-off event and would like to eliminate unwanted prescription drugs from your home, a new permanent prescription drug drop-off receptacle is located in the lower level lobby of the Fridley
Municipal Center.

The City’s fall Residential Recycling
