I Pledge Project

July is National Ice Cream Month and Grandpa's will start the month with "I Pledge for Ice Cream Project."  This project rewards children across America for their patriotism by offering free ice cream just for reciting the Pledge of Allegiance by memory. 

Grandpa's will give each child ages 12 and under, a FREE ice cream cone if they are able to recite the Pledge of Allegiance by memory.  Each child must be accompanied by an adult.

The campaign, launched by Leopold's Ice Cream on a local level in Savannah, Ga. in the summer of 2010 and has now grown into a national program. www.ipledgeforicecream.com
