Tree Trust is looking for 40 volunteers to help plant 40 trees in Eden Prairie as part of Tree Trust’s Green Futures Initiative. Green Futures plantings give volunteers the opportunity to actively participate in improving our local environment by planting trees. Trees planted at Green Futures events are well-established six-to-ten-foot tall trees which have a greater chance to survive than seedlings. Tree Trust staff train the planting volunteers on-site on the proper method to plant a tree and they ensure maintenance for at least the first three years with the participating municipality.
