Excerpt #3

This one's from another of my current projects: Aneurysm (Cedarcrest Series) ~~ Nina Summers, age eleven, had the world ahead of her. It’d been four years since her mom had divorced her dad, and three years since her mom had remarried. She liked the new dad. He at least attempted to be nice. She hadn’t heard from her dad since he split, right after the divorce finalized. Not one peep. She even had a new sister: Tara Olson. They were the same age, Nina was just a few months younger. Tara wasn’t exactly the nicest girl that Nina had ever met, but she still held hope that they would grow to be friends.
