The school was already teeming with life. Nina sighed and trudged through the crowded halls to her locker. As she approached, one of Tara’s friends stuck out her foot and tripped her, sending her flailing across the floor until she collided with a group of ESL students. “Have a nice trip,” the girl laughed. The hallway erupted with laughter and Nina fought to stand up, completely red in the face. She stomped over to her locker and tossed in her bag, keeping only her binder and pencil case out. She slammed it shut and locked it before heading to the cafeteria to pick up her schedule. ~~ The next few excerpts I post will be from either Aneurysm (Out hopefully next week) or Excelsior (Out end of June), which are the two top priority projects I have going right now. There's a fair chance that my novel, Ice, may make an appearance, but it's not so likely. I've sort of stalled on that one. http://www.amazon.com/Emmaline-Westlund/e/B0076Q7BLM That's my Amazon Author Page. It's got a handy dandy list of all my books that are currently available- SOME ARE EVEN IN PAPERBACK! And I know there's a createspace sale going on right now so the paperbacks are $3.79 instead of $3.99! (Unless it's changed by the time this posts. If it has I'm sorry. But at least it's only 20 cents!)
