
The Chisago Lakes Area football team spoiled ’s homecoming on Friday, topping the Tigers 36-20 in Fridley.
The Tigers looked to snap its two-game losing streak, but Chisago Lakes quickly jumped out to a 13-0 lead after the first quarter and a 20-0 lead at halftime.
A 17-point third quarter extended the lead to 36-0 heading into the fourth, and the Wildcats (3-3, 3-2 North Suburban Conference) never looked back.

Despite a 20-point fourth quarter by Fridley, the Tigers couldn’t overcome their early-game deficit.
The loss was Fridley’s third straight since beating Columbia Heights at home on Sept. 16.

The Tigers (1-5, 1-4) will look to end the streak against crosstown rival Totino-Grace on Friday, Oct. 14. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Eagles are currently 5-1 overall and sitting atop the North Suburban Conference at 4-0.
