Fridley 49er Day's Festival

   The events start at 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with the youth 3 on 3 basketball tournament and a Run for Fun road race starting at 6:20 pm at St Phillips Church and the Fridley Lions 49er Day parade starting at 6:30 pm beginning at the Middle School on 61st St.
   Friday starts with senior activities from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the FCC and festivities begin at the Medtronic site at 5:00 pm. There will be a carnival, Bingo, a street dance featuring the White Sidewalls, the Fridley Lions Club beer tent, softball tournaments, pizza eating contest sponsored by Broadway Pizza.
   Saturday is a big day for the children and adults alike. Starting at 8:00 am with tennis tournaments and 9:00 am with the softball tournaments (community park) and at Commons park at 10:00 am with sand volleyball. 12:00 pm starts our carnival and kids days with touch a truck, Allina wellness van, Fridley Music and Arts Festival, Pie baking contest with a top prize of $1000.00, Bingo, The Fridley City Band, The Fridley All School Reunion, the Ambassador Pageant and a street dance featuring The Chris Brooks Band and a pizza eating contest again sponsored by Broadway Pizza.
    Sunday at 9:00 am will start up with the softball tournaments at community park, the carnival opens at noon the 2nd annual car show goes from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, the Fridley Lions Club beer tent opens at 1:00 pm and The Fridley Idol gets started at 1:00 pm.
