Fridley City Council Sets 2nd Interviews with 2 City Manager Finalists
Council preparing questions for Monday meetings with city-manager candidates Michael Ericson and Walter (Wally) Wysopal.

The two finalists for the job of Fridley city manager will each interview with the Fridley City Council for a second time on Monday, April 15, 2013, at Fridley City Hall, according to a City of Fridley press release Saturday.
The council met Saturday and decided to interview Michael Ericson and Walter (Wally) Wysopal again, according to the release:
The Fridley City Council met in a Special Meeting on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fridley Municipal Center to determine the next step in the selection process for a new City Manager.

After a brief discussion by Councilmembers concerning their individual readiness to select a top finalist, the Council voted unanimously to proceed with a second round of interviews of the two top finalists, Michael Ericson and Walter (Wally) Wysopal. The Council discussed a list of possible questions to ask of each finalist and decided that the interviews will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Fridley Municipal Center beginning at 4:00 p.m. with Mr. Ericson and 4:45 p.m. with Mr. Wysopal.
