Fridley Man Wins Wisconsin Golf Tournament

John Hanner of Fridley made a great golf showing at a tournament at Clifton Highlands Golf Club near Prescott, WI, over the weekend.

The Eau Claire Leader-Telegram reported Hanner's "four-stroke Chippewa Valley Golf Association victory" and the association's website offered further details—including a photo of a smiling Hanner, who "posted a 69 on the 6400 yard Clifton Highlands course," and the welcome fact that the tournament narrowly but completely escaped weekend downpours.
