Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Fridley will a public hearing on January 20, 2021 at 7:00 pm via telephone or other electronic means.

This public hearing is in consideration of a Special Use permit, SP #21-01, by Schmit Towing, Inc., to allow outdoor storage on the lot across the street from their business at 92 43rd Avenue, owned by Burlington Northern Santa Fe. The lot will be used for storage of impounded vehicles, the legal description is on file and available at Fridley Civic Campus, generally located at 80-44th Avenue NE.

In accordance with the recommendations of Governor Walz’s Emergency Executive Order 20-99, which recommends remote meetings whenever possible, the January 20, 2021 Planning Commission meeting will be held via Zoom meeting.

Public Comment Before a Meeting

If you have public comments to submit before a meeting, please send your comments to stacy.stromberg@fridleymn.gov or contact 763–572–3595. Public comments will be received up until noon on the day of the meeting. Comments will be compiled and delivered to the Planning Commission.

Public Comment During a Meeting

During the meeting, members of the public that wish to comment may join the meeting on the Zoom webinar platform. Attendees will be able to click the "raise hand button" and alert City staff that they wish to comment.
