Fridley Police Blotter: They Talked Trash When He Took Out Trash
Fridley Police activity for Feb. 19.

The following items are taken from the Fridley Police Department.
Feb. 19:
- A complainant said someone parked in his assigned parking stall in a lot in the 600 block of Osborne Road NE and called him names when he took trash to the dumpster.
- A complainant said someone is stealing outgoing mail from a residential mail box in the 5300 block of Seventh Street NE.
- A caller said someone stole items from a car in a driveway in the 7600 block of Van Buren Street NE.
- Someone broke a vehicle window in the 7400 block of Able Street NE and stole $1,000 worth of property.
- Someone broke into a vehicle in the 100 block of 85th Avenue NE, taking nothing but causing $500 worth of damage to the passenger-side front window.
- Someone broke in and took tools from a vehicle in the 1000 block of North Circle NE and also slashed the vehicle's tires.
- A caller in the 6000 block of Third Street NE said a driver backed into the caller's car three times.
In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation, and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Incidents generally appear in the order in which they were reported, not necessarily the order in which they occurred.
