Fridley's Lee Carlson Center for Mental Health and Well-Being Serves Generations: Report

Sun Focus profiles family in which mother who received counseling in high school now sends sons to clinic.

You've seen the mayor of Fridley and other officials sleep in tents atop the roof of Bob's Produce to raise money for the Lee Carlson Center for Mental Health and Well-Being in Fridley.

The Sun Focus newspaper tells the story of a Fridley family in which counselors at the clinic served a parent when she was at Spring Lake Park High School and now serve her sons:

As a mother of three with each child at a different school and also going to after-school activities, she said she appreciates the flexibility the Lee Carlson Center therapists have been able to offer, working with and sometimes around her schedule to make sure her children can have sessions with their therapists.
