Fridley Softball Digs Hole in Game Against Benilde-St. Margaret's, Almost Climbs Back

The Fridley team fell behind 10-0, and despite late inning rallies, lost to Benilde-St. Margaret's 11-7

The softball team fell behind early to on a chilly afternoon Tuesday, and a late-inning Tiger comeback wasn't quite enough to win.

The BSM team, playing at home at their St. Louis Park campus, capitalized on walks and defensive errors made by the Tigers to go up 10-0 after three innings.

After a rallying cry from head coach Amanda Yurek, the Fridley team became more aggressive in their at bats. They put four on the scoreboard in the fifth inning and shut out the BSM team in the bottom of the inning.
