Garage on Ely Street Burglarized Sunday, Fridley Police Say

A burglar or burglars cut a padlock on a backyard fence in the 300 block of Ely Street NE Sunday and made off with power tools and golf clubs, according to the Fridley Police Department.

In a Crime Alert issued Monday, police said residents had not locked the garage where they had stored the missing items. The tools included a Sears chainsaw and a DeWalt drill. The residence is on a cul-de-sac just southwest of .
