Looking Forward to 49er Days: Zumba Dancing Demo

You can try out zumba dancing at Fridley's 49er Days festival. A zumba demo is on the at 4 p.m. at the Moon Plaza event site.

The in the first month after Fridley Patch launched in December 2010.

Zumba instructor Darcy Fox told Patch reporter Katie Hogan that

the greatest part about Zumba is that "there aren’t any rules—no one has to be perfect about the dancing." Zumba is not geared towards any one age group or type of person; Fox said she has taught a child of 5 and a woman aged 84.

So that means anyone at 49er Days can give zumba a try! Fox, who teaches zumba at Fridley Community Center, will be the leader of the demonstration Saturday.
