Medtronic: We Lost Track of a Box with Patient Records
The box may still be at the Minnesota facility where it went missing, the Fridley-based corporation told the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
Fridley-based Medtronic, Inc. has sent letters to 2,764 patients whose personal data might be in a box that the company can't find at one of its Minnesota facilities, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported.
Medtronic has made ID-protection arrangements for the patients. The records related to insulin pumps and glocose-monitoring devices, according to the Pioneer Press.
