NHCC TO HOST MINNESOTA HISTORICAL SOCIETY TRAVELING EXHIBITMINNESOTA DISASTERS: STORIES OF STRENGTH AND SURVIVAL
North Hennepin Community College will be hosting the Minnesota Historical Society traveling exhibit – Minnesota Disasters: Stories of Strength and Survival –through Sunday, August 11th at its Center for Liberal Arts atrium, with a special opening reception on Thursday, June 27th at 9:30am. The exhibit and reception is free and open to the public. From man-made catastrophes to mother nature’s fury, disasters mark unforgettable dates in our state’s history. The exhibit recounts stories of heroism, courage, and stark reality through extraordinary photography and film. Created by the Minnesota History Center Traveling Exhibits Program, Minnesota Disasters brings Minnesota history to communities statewide. Sponsored by the Brooklyn Historical Society, Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
