North Metro Performing Arts Series Kicks Off Inaugural Season Friday
A tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons by The Unexpected Boys.

From American pop music to Kenyan acrobats, this Friday Spring Lake Park School's Community Education kicks off the inaugural season of the North Metro Performing Arts Series with a performance by The Unexpected Boys--a Tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
Crooning hits like Sherry, Walk Like a Man, Let's Hang On and many more, they will be sure to have the crowd moving and singing along.
On Nov. 7 The John Jorgenson Quintet, the second act in the series, plays "Gypsy Jazz." Jorgenson was a founder of the "Desert Rose Band" and the "Hellecasters" and toured and played with Elton John.

Filling out the series will be Trio Voronezh, an unusual chamber group from Russia, playiing Russian folk and popular song to their own arrangements of classical chamber works on Feb. 14, 2012. The Kenya Safari Acrobats will take you on a journey through Africa on March 12, 2012.
