Park Center Upsets Totino-Grace In Girls Basketball Section Semifinals
Kaeli Kraska's 37 points weren't enough for the Eagles to advance.
A big night from Kaeli Kraska wasn’t enough Tuesday, as the girls basketball team was upset 65-62 by Park Center High School in the Section 3AAA semifinals.
Kraska had a game-high 37 points in the game, but three Park Center players scored in double-figures as the sixth-seeded Pirates upset the second-seeded Eagles at Spring Lake Park High School. Park Center (10-17) will face DeLaSalle High School for the section title on Friday in Anoka.
For the Pirates, Cayla McMorris had a team-high 20 points. Megan VanHulzen chipped in 17 points and Kati Fern had 10.
Totino-Grace finished the season with a 19-9 record.
