PHOTOS: Friday Flakes Fall in Fridley

Spotted from the warmth of the Fridley : It was rough going for one person crossing Hwy. 47 at lunchtime Friday when the wind whipped up.

It was snowing fat flakes outside of Fridley City Hall, from the looks of this photo from the Parks and Recreation Department.

Will the snow accumulate enough for the outside activities at Winterfest Saturday afternoon? The sledding hill at had a bit of snow Friday afternoon, the dogsled area outside not as much.

But Winterfest goes on whatever the weather, so come down for some fun from 1–4 p.m. Saturday—after your waffles at the Lions' breakfast at the community center from 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
