's football season opener was a disappointing 56-6 loss for the Tigers. An impressive Shakopee offense seemed to be able to run at will against Fridley's defense. An 85-yard fumble recovery returned for a touchdown by Matt Duehn was the only score for Fridley. Fridley (0-1) will travel to play St. Louis Park on Sept. 9.
