Photos: Fridley Plays Eastview in Legion Baseball Tournament
The Fridley Legion baseball team lost to Eastview in a tough game during the 2011 Jim Hanus Memorial Gopher Classic Tournament.
At the 2011 Jim Hanus Memorial Gopher Classic Tournament, Eastview outscored Fridley in an exciting baseball game.
On a day seemingly made for baseball, Eastview came out very strong in the first inning and established a six-run lead over Fridley. Fridley managed to get a run of their own in the first inning also.
From there on it was an all-out battle between the teams with a barrage of singles, doubles, and runners coming home. When the dust finally settled on the field, Fridley lost to Eastview 12-8 in a fantastic ballgame.
