PHOTOS: Fridley Students Show Off Personal Projects
A homemade computer, liquid nitrogen ice cream and hockey for charity were among the projects tenth-graders took on at Fridley High School.
Kate Nelsen made ice cream using liquid nitrogen. Michael Lipa made his own computer. AJ Fredrickson developed an outdoor hockey tournament to raise money for charity.
Fridley High School teacher Callie Bush posted photos on Twitter of personal projects by students she advised. Almost every 10th grader completed a personal project, Bush said—part of the Fridley schools' International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP).
"Students did some impressive work!" she added. The students' efforts also drew a praise of tweet from Rumosu Kwateh:
