Wednesday's snowfall, Thursday's cold wind and the Panthers' pitching staff couldn't cool off the Orioles' bats as St. Louis Park rolled to a 6-2 win over Spring Lake Park in high school baseball action Thursday.

The Panthers managed six hits against St. Louis Park lefthander John Gollice but could only generate the two runs. Leadoff hitter Dean Pope drove in both runs for the Panthers, en route to collecting three hits from his spot on top of the batting order.

The Orioles scored in each of the first four innings to build a lead that the Panthers couldn't recover from.
