'Prom' from Prometheus? Upload Your Old Prom Photos

Fridley High School was the setting Thursday for a WCCO-TV Good Question segment that asked:

How did prom become a high school tradition?

Reporter Jason DeRusha visited Fridley High and talked to students decorating the auditorium for Saturday's Grand March. The theme: "Night under the Stars: Tonight's Dream, Tomorrow's Memory."

One Fridley senior hazards a tongue-in-cheek guess at prom's origins:

“Wasn’t it when Prometheus took fire from the heavens and tossed it into a disco ball, starting a crazy party?”
