READ CHARGES: Prosecutors Say Man Tried to Kill Fetus, Beat Woman in Fridley

See the charges of attempted murder of an unborn child and domestic abuse against Kenneth L. Turner.

Anoka County prosecutors say a Fridley home was the scene of "shocking" crimes last week—a man beating his pregnant ex-girlfriend and trying to kill the fetus she was carrying.

Kenneth Lakewood Turner faces two counts: Attempted murder in the first degree of an unborn child, and domestic assault. He remains in jail with bail set at $500,000 bail. His next court date is May 14, 2012.
