The results of the are in, and has won the title of best place to have brunch in Fridley.
To win, The Shorewood had to charge past in the online poll. A last-day campaign saw a fan tweet on behalf of "good ole Shorewood" and cast what may have been the deciding vote, giving The Shorewood a one-vote margin of victory over OCB.
Old Country Buffet has its fans too, who voiced their support for the Fridley restaurant earlier this year when the chain announced due to bankruptcy. (.)
