Report: Fridley Man Calls Kandiyohi County Officials 'Cowards'
Henry Zimmer of Fridley disputed the estimated market value on his Irving Township farm, according to the West Central Tribune.

Henry Zimmer, a Fridley man, was in Willmar, MN, Monday night to protest how Kandiyohi County is figuring the value of his farmland in the area, according to the West Central Tribune:
“Sign this here statement,” said Zimmer, who maintained he was being wrongly taxed for two separate building sites.
Zimmer lives in Fridley but has a 40-acre farm site near Spicer.

He hand delivered a document to each commissioner and asked him to sign it.
“If you refuse to sign below, I will demand that you stop taxing me for two building sites,” read the letter.

“I’m not signing anything,” said Commissioner Dennis Peterson, echoing the sentiments of the other board members.
“Cowards,” retorted Zimmer.
It's a return trip for Zimmer before the county board of equalization, according to the newspaper.
The board did not adjust the estimate value, the newspaper said. s
