Report: Fridley Police Ask Public's Help after Alleged Attacks on Joggers

Authorities say two men suffered random assaults near East River Road and 37th Avenue NE, according to WCCO.

Fridley police are asking for information from the public after what they say were likely random attacks on two joggers Saturday near the city's far southwestern corner, WCCO reported.

According to an online article at posted by WCCO:

Authorities said two joggers were the victims of what are being labeled as random attacks on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and 3:50 p.m.  The joggers, both men, were on a path near East River Road and 37th Avenue NE when the attacks took place. ...

Authorities said the suspects are described of a group of six to seven Somali men, but did not have any more information.
