Totino-Grace Rolls Past White Bear Lake into Football Section Semifinals
The Eagles face Mounds View Friday with a trip to state on the line.
The football team extended its winning streak to nine games on Saturday with a 28-0 win over White Bear Lake in the Section 2AAAAA semifinals.
The Eagles, , have a chance to reach the state tournament in their new class on Friday at home against Mounds View. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
Totino-Grace opened up the season with a stunning 28-0 loss to Minnetonka at home, but since that night in early September the Eagles have been unbeatable. T-G (9-1) has outscored North St. Paul and White Bear Lake by a combined 58-7 in two playoff games this season.

Four different T-G players scored touchdowns on Saturday, all rushing touchdowns. Andrew McDonald broke a scoreless tie in the third with a three-yard run, and in the fourth Bob McDonald scored from one yard out, Ben Petersen scored from 56 yards out and Conor Perez scored from 18 yards out.
Mounds View is coming off a 19-18 win over Stillwater on Saturday. The Mustangs (9-1) have not lost since Sept. 9 against unbeaten Cretin-Derham Hall.
