Totino-Grace Softball Falls To Forest Lake At State
The Eagles will face Brainerd at 5 p.m. today in the consolation semifinals
The Totino-Grace softball team fell to Forest Lake 4-3 on Thursday in the Class AAA state quarterfinals at Caswell Park in Mankato.
The Eagles scored three runs in the first inning, but Forest Lake pitcher Taylor Burmeister shut the door the rest of the way and helped the Rangers move onto the state semifinals.
T-G will play Brainerd (21-1) at 5 p.m. in the consolation semifinals.

Forest Lake scored twice in the first and twice in the third to secure the 4-3 victory. Kailey Hanson scored the game-winning run on a Mikayla Watters’ single.
It was T-G’s first loss of the season. The Eagles fall to 24-1, while Forest Lake improved to 17-6 on the year.
