Totino-Grace, Spring Lake Park, Fridley Golfers Compete in Conference Meet

The Eagles bested the Panthers by a single stroke to win.

Three area high school golf teams competed Monday at a North Suburban Conference boys golf meet at in Hopkins.

won the golf meet with a score of 157, while the Spring Lake Park boys golf team finished second with a score of 158. The team struggled with a team score of 212.

For Totino-Grace, Ben Rettke finished with a 38 to lead the team. Nick Javorina finished with a 39, while Alex Jarosz and Eric Szymanski finished with 40s on the day.

Charlie Glasser led Spring Lake Park with a 37 on the day. Teammate Nick Auman had a 39, Jack Hiemenz had a 40 and Brandon Jones had a 42.

For Fridley, Taylor Christenson led the way with a 51. Nico Alvarez and Jacob Grippes each finished with 53s on the day, and Ty Gemlo finished with a 55.

Columbia Heights didn't field a full team but had a couple golfers participating.
