Totino-Grace Sweeps 2AA True Team Track Meet

The boys and girls track teams both placed first at Saturday's Minnesota 2AA True team Track event.  The state's top teams gathered at Stillwater Area High School in this unique competition that allots from 1-18 points to participants in events depending on their finish.

This was the second year in a row the Eagles' girls team won the competition, amassing 412 points and beating New Prague by 22 points.  The boys team edged Makato East by only 5.5 points, 409.5 to 403.

Among the relay individual performances:

• Rachel Trentor won the 100 and 200 meter races and the long jump competition
• Adam Braun and Steven Dado finished 1-2 in both the 1600 and 3200 meter races
• The Girls Team won the 4 x100 meter race
• Margaret Paul won the 300 meter hurdles
• Alex Wagner won the boys 300 meter hurdles
