79 Dogs, 8 Cats, and 6 Guinea Pigs Rescued from Minnesota Home

The Golden Valley-based Animal Humane Society​​ removed dozens of mistreated animals from a home in rural Pine County last week.

Last week, the Golden Valley-based Animal Humane Society removed 79 dogs, eight cats, and six guinea pigs from a home in rural Pine County, the organization announced Tuesday. The rescued animals are suffering from varying degrees of health and social issues from poor medical care, socialization, and uncontrolled breeding.

The Animal Humane Society says their staff has been providing the animals with medical treatment and behavior modification to prepare them for adoption.
