Absentee Ballots Can Be Delivered To City Hall Starting September 18

If you apply more than 46 days before the election, your ballot will be mailed to you at least 46 days prior to the election.

Absentee voting in-person begins Sept 18. Sept 18 is also the first day completed absentee ballots can be dropped off at City Hall to avoid mailing in completed ballots.

If you apply more than 46 days before the election, your ballot will be mailed to you at least 46 days prior to the election. If you apply within 46 days of the election, your ballot will be mailed to you within a day or two of your application being received. Once you’ve completed your ballot, return it to Golden Valley City Hall during normal business hours (Mon–Fri, 8 am–4:30 pm).

The voting process will look slightly different, as the City is asking voters to adhere to health and safety guidelines set forth by the State of Minnesota and Minnesota Department of Health. Voters should know wait times are expected to be longer while visiting City Hall and on election day as social distancing measures will be taken and building capacity restrictions will be in place. Election Day Voting

All polling places in Golden Valley will be open 7 am–8 pm on election day, Nov 3. The same health and safety guidelines used during in-person absentee voting will also apply to election day voting. Read more.
