Volunteers visit patients in their own homes or residential care facilities. They may read to a patient, write letters, fix a meal, provide respite to caregivers or help in many ways. Our volunteer program supports patients throughout the twin city metro and surrounding communities, wherever a patient calls home! We cover 33 counties in MN and western Wisconsin.
Allina Health's hospice program is a "We Honor Vet's" Level 4 Hospice and we are building upon this commitment we have made to honor and support our veterans at end of life. We also offer opportunities for "certified" volunteers; hairstylists, healing touch, massage, pet therapy, etc.
