Comcast volunteers lend a helping hand at Second Harvest in Golden Valley

Volunteers took advantage of summer-like weather Saturday, April 27 to
lend a helping hand at Second
Harvest Heartland West in Golden Valley.  Volunteers sorted food at the
warehouse and worked at a dry goods station breaking down big quantities of
food like rice into smaller packages for use at food shelves.  More than 1,800 volunteers worked at dozens
of area nonprofits as part of Comcast Cares Day, the company’s annual
nationwide volunteer event.
