Golden Valley Women of Today is all about service, growth and fellowship. As being a member for 2 years, I have formed close friendships, which makes being a part of a group like this so much fun! We believe in utilizing the talents and creativity that our members have to make our group something that people want to be a part of.

Do you have a lot of ideas? Do you have a lot of ideas that you think the community could benefit from? We will listen to you and what you have to offer. Women of Today offers leadership training, effective speaking and effective writing opportunities.

That is only part of the picture. There is also the Minnesota Women of Today organization. We have chapters all over the state of Minnesota. We are a group of individuals that want to be a positive role model within the community. Some of the projects that we have worked on or donated to are; the Pink Purse Project, Adopt An Animal (Como Zoo), Crisis Nursery, Bed race for Bridging, Relay for Life, March of Dimes Walk, Volunteer Expo at the Mall of America.

Our goals are to recruit more members so that we can have the man power to contrubute more to the community.It is about helping others and leaving the world a better place because we lived and served within it. Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 5th from 7pm - 9pm. It is held at the Brookview Community room adjacent to the Brookview Golf Course in Golden Valley. You do not need to live in Golden Valley to join the chapter. Check out the website for more details www.goldenvalleywt.org
